Merry Christmas / Feliz Navidad

Lots of fun opening presents and our Christmas stockings. Many thanks to Eduardo and Kattya for the matching Costa Rica Men's Soccer Team Jerseys.  We had fun taking family photos (even Clark joined in)! Eduardo is great with setting up the timed photos with his phone then as it counts down join in the photo.

And we had snow for a VERY brief time but Eduardo took a video of it on the car. It is very cold here in Pennsylvania!

Gallo pinto, fruit and eggs for breakfast and sugar cooking making before we headed to the Melendezs. Kattya has been helping me in the kitchen - from 2 to 6 is a big change for me!   We had lots of fun at Adrienne, Carlos and Kalel's house for Christmas lunch.  We are grateful for such a wonderful godfamily.


And in the evening at Longwood Gardens on Christmas. The photos (and video) speak for themselves and are magical but very chilly. We all received Snowflake Holiday 3D glasses for Christmas lights - 

the holographic lenses mysteriously transform ordinary Christmas lights or any bright point of light into snowflakes. We all enjoyed seeing snowflakes where there were lights when we looked through the glasses (and imagining a White Christmas).  And we were glad to get hot chocolate to warm up. 🍫


A late dinner and Eduardo put Netflix on our television so we can watch/listen in Spanish and English. We watched Small Town Santa (On the eve of Christmas, Sheriff Rick Langston has lost his holiday spirit. But when he arrests a home intruder claiming to be Santa Claus, his world gets turned upside-down! With the help of Lucy, the new girl in town, Santa helps show Rick that even when you feel that all is lost, love is all around you.).
