The Tournament and Feliz Cumpleanos Abuela Linda!

We slept in a bit - Clark allowed me to stay in until 7am :-)  We had lunch then headed to the tournament, We arrived by 12:30am  and waited until about 5pm for Kendall's group. We are so grateful for Kendall's supporters from church - Josh Black and Kendall's godparents and godbrother. Josh's wife, Mel, and their daughter Haylee had a baton competition in Abington - go Haylee! Josh waited for 3 hours and Adrienne, Carlos and Kalel about 2 hours.  Many thanks to Carlos for helping to triage Kendall's exhibition match.  Kendall was the tallest of the 12 to 14 group and didn't match. They were going to move him to the 15 to 32 year old group - gasp because they were more aggressive,  Carlos talked to one coach that didn't like the match but his student would spar Kendall as well.  So many thanks, Steady, and family!  Kendall lost 10 to 2 but he did not have any penalties and his groin cup moved. Mr. Fox said we need to work on speed.  Kendall limped off the mat but went into fighter pose for a photo with Steady - LOVE!

We relaxed the rest of the evening and watched a dancing movie called 'I love your MOVES' because Kendall I love your moves :-)

And Feliz Cumpleanos Abuela Linda - los amamos!

Buenas noches!
