Our usual Sunday morning ritual - church and Sunday School. We then headed to Spirit Halloween. We had to wait a half hour for it so open so we Giant for a small list of things we needed. Bonus: we found Cheetos bags that glow in the dark. We will try them out tonight :-)
Kendall loved Spirit Halloween! We found a glow in the dark skeleton and a sickle. Notice a theme here... He loved stepping in all of the displays. Our conversation: 'You do it' 'No you do it.' A video is below. The Abuelos bought him a werewolf costume per his last request. And before that was an astronaut. This will be his first Halloween so we are trying to make it extra special. We have lots or decorations for this year!
We went to Barnes and Noble to use a gift card. I picked out a lot of Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and 1st grade study materials. We have 2nd and 3rd grade study books. From his school evaluation, he is very intelligent but a lot of his learning is on different levels. We are on a mission to figure this out for him.
We studied his spelling words (mad, tag, pig, big, has and tin) again to his dismay but he did a great job. We also enjoyed a nap.
