A little bit of a ride (thanks Abuelo Ricardo for driving there and back), a little expensive but worth because it was so much fun and we all had a great time!
We bought tickets to. Legoland and the water park. Because of traffic and the distance from our hotel, we arrived at 11am. The hours are 10am to 5pm so we were planning to stay for the duration. It was a hot day so I made sure Kendall and I had sunscreen, sunglasses and hats then we were off. Wonderful shows - we saw 2; lots of rides for Kendall, myself and the Abuelos - Abuelo Ricardo was the favorite for him to ride with and we all road the boat flume, which resulted in all of us getting soaked and of course, incredible Legos! One of Kendall's favorites was getting his drivers license :-) At 4pm, Kendall chose Abuelo Ricardo to go into the water park with and had a fabulous time on the slides and fun water rides. The tickets were expensive so we only purchased 2 water park tickets. Abuela Linda and I tried to dry off and shopped a bit :-)
Kendall and Abuelo Ricardo were one of the last ones out of the water park. Abuelo Linda had found a cool space LEGO for Kendall and in the way out we stopped at the Lego store and he also picked out a Lego with equipment to fix traffic lights. Since there was a lot of traffic, we investigated the LEGO hotel and here very impressed! There a buffet restaurant where we had incredible choices amongst all kinds of LEGOs. We also looked around the hotel - LEGOs everywhere and a show was in progress as we were leaving. Kendall wants to stay there next time. I tried before we left to see if we could get a room but they were booked.
A wonderful sunset on the way back to our hotel and some homework with the Abuelos. Abuela Linda read 2 books to him and Abuelo Ricardo worked on spelling with him. Then, of course, listening to the radio with ear pieces.
