He wanted to play a game so I took a shower (ducha) first followed by Kendall. We made our beds and then went to the free breakfast at Suites Cristina. Kendall loves every type of food. He had cereal, fruit, a sandwich and cafe. He uses salt (sal) on everything, which I am not used to. When we cook, he has always asked to add extra sol.
We decided to go to the larger market and in the lobby, another family from New York City that adopted 2 siblings last year were there. We introduced ourselves and they will be back Monday (lunes) so we hope to meet up with them then. I think Kendall may be a chef in the making. He loves to shop for and cook food. We found globos (balloons), which was on our list from yesterday, ensalada (salad) items, a notebook to practice writing English and Spanish and huevos de chocolate (chocolate eggs). Kendall loves huevos de chocolate for the obvious chocolate and there is a prize inside! We also found a recorder (which he loves but I may regret purchasing!), Hot Wheels car track and Star Wars Legos. Kendall enjoyed setting up both of those today.
Ileana and a colleague from PANI stopped by to check on Kendall and to see how everything went overnight. Kendall is muy feliz. He played the recorder for them and showed them the Hot Wheels. We also went in the pool and La Sabana Park to walk around and for helado. We finished the evening by talking to the abuelos and playing Offroad Legends. Tomorrow Kendall wants to ride on the barcos (boats) in La Sabana Park. It was a buen día!
Buenas noches!
