Hobby Horse Lego Build and Ruby's Diner

Kendall did a great job participating and learning in school today.  Today was also the only day in December there was a free Lego Build at the Lego a Store in the King of Prussia Mall. I did tell him where we were going only that I had a surprise for him. He guessed New York City by our route then guessed Multiplaza.  He was excited to go to the Lego Store!

We waited for about 20 minutes on line to make it to one of 2 tables. They wait until an entire table finishes before starting another group. The father/daughter  duo in front of us were doing homework.  We practiced some spelling but will bring work with us next time! Each child has a cup with the pieces to the Lego Build and they build it together. Tonight was a hobby horse. Some kids pay attention and others do not. Kendall did a get job following directions and keeping up with the group.

We ate at Ruby's Diner. Kendall loved the motorcycles, trains and that everyone there spoke Spanish. We practiced ordering en Espanol. At home, Kendall made a dog from the Lego Advent calendar, ate some chocolate from the other Advent calendar, worked on spelling, math and finished Captain Underpants and the Perilous Plot of Professor Poopypants :-)
