Movie Premiere Wednesday

We funded a movie, Steadfast, on Kickstarter. This film is about a teenager named Marcus and his friend Jack who are up to no good -  stealing and getting into trouble. They think all they're doing is having fun and playing games, but in actuality, it is much worse. They both need help and they don't know it. As the story progresses, Marcus meets a Christian classmate who introduces himself, and they become friends. He finds out that his job is to bring Marcus to God, and have him repent for what he has done. Marcus starts to change; however, when everything is about to turn around, things get bad real quick when Jack is in trouble. Marcus finds himself in the biggest predicament of his life, and must turn to God to decide what is right.

Kendall and I are so excited for the Steadfast Christian Movie Premiere we backed on Kickstarter. We drove through the backroads of PA from Coatesville to Litiz seeing lots of Amish homes and buggys.  A beautiful relaxing drive (except passing the Amish buggys).   The cinema is in the middle of a corn field with an small airport across the street.    They popped free popcorn in the theater, We had Icees and Kendall also had pretzel pieces with cheese (besides dinner!).  We sat in leather seats and theater wass abuzz with anticipation. A packed house and we LOVED the young folks here. We felt like VIPs!

What a great job in putting his film together.  We met the director and some of the actors and really enjoyed the outtakes at the end!  Kendall can't stop talking about the film and wants it to be shown everywhere. My name is in the credits since our Kickstarter account is in my name.  The film has been entered into 10 film festivals, accepted so far in 4 festivals and by September we hope the film has more acceptances.
