We went to the later church service for the special children's Thanksgiving program so we went to Sunday School first. We also dropped off a turkey and stuffing for a family the youth group is helping to supply Thanksdunner dinner. We lost electricity during part of Sunday School and church this morning but it didn't matter after switching from an electric piano to a regular piano and everyone speaking loudly! Kendall's class followed one of their classmates and one by one said what they are thankful for. That is me at the beach and on the back is Kendall and his 3 brothers with myself and Eduardo and Kattya below. My class made a hand and we put what we were thankful for on the fingers (I needed my palm, too!) We were going to polish all the gold and silver altar items but we decided to do it next week :-)
We cleaned up all his toys today and we have a bag ready for donation. We also have a mini Lego City in our basement. We watched Dennis the Menace (which we started before church and we had to watch the whole movie!), Shrek, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and part of The a Wizard of Oz. We also made some Thanksgiving cookies.
