One cavity filled and two more to go...

Kendall was wonderful having one of his 3 cavities filled today. He had local anesthetic and felt a little funny but did very well. He was a little tired in school but made it through the whole day! Tonight, he told me he did not like his mouth going to sleep (which is what the dentist told hims - she did a fabulous job explaining to him the tools and the procedure). We still have 2 more cavities to go...

We went to Walmart tonight to get size 12 slim pants. The size 10 pants we have are now too small!  We also discovered that we both LOVE Captain Underpants. His teacher lent us some of the books. We read 7 chapters and could have read more. Captain Underpants is a children's novel series by American author and illustrator, Dav Pilkey. The series revolves around two 4th graders, George Beard and Harold Hutchins, and Captain Underpants, an aptly named superhero from one of George & Harold's comic books, that accidentally becomes real when George and Harold hypnotize their megalomaniacal principal, Mr. Krupp. The books are funny with writing about pee, poo, boogers, and things like that. In the comics, half of the words are misspelled and I hope as Kendall learns to read we can learn the correct spelling together so he doesn't get confused with spelling words incorrectly. The book series has 10 books and 3 spin-offs so that will keep us busy!
