We slept in bit and then had all the animals walked and fed by 1 pm. Eunice's Baby Shower was at Shannon's in West Grove at 2pm. We picked up some gelato called Gelato Fiasco made in Maine (but available at your grovery store). Eunice has to watch her sugar but still enjoyed the gelato and some Workingman's Cake we brought.
We had so much fun seeing and catching up with everyone! Kendall was the tallest one there and everyone commented on his height :-) We enjoyed Pho with Kimchi and Broth with beef, shrimp, fish, fish balls, rice cakes, tofu, taro, spinach, watercress, bok choy and several types of mushrooms. Shannon had gas burners with the broth and kimchi and you made your own Pho.
Kendall has now decided that he is part Chinese since he received a fortune cookie and gummy fish that I brought home from work and from Shannon, Cynthia, Eunice and Grace, he received Chinese cards that contained money. He will be writing thank you cards!
From the shower, we headed to The Keswick Theatre in Glenside, PA to see Who's Bad - The Ultimate Michael Jackson Tribute Band. The Who's Bad's live performance was a wonderful celebration of
pop music's one true King. It was a great music-and-dance
driven Michael Jackson homage and they even let the kids and adults on stage to dance during one song. Kendall didn't want to go up but enjoyed watching everyone else. We sang Happy Birthday twice and really enjoyed dancing and singing to Michael Jackson. We listened to Michael Jackson all the way home :-)
