Feliz Sabado - We are officially stargazers!

A lazy morning. We did not go to La Mancha today either. He watched cartoons and Skyped with Kevin at noon. Tonight we met Pastor Susan Lynch, who is a candidate for our new pastor. There was a great turnout for her meet and greet tonight.  She does not speak Spanish but studied opera in school so she knows a little Italian, which is similar.  She will preach at one service tomorrow and the  congregation will vote after the service.  We is very easy to talk to and we liked her a lot!

Originally, Kendall told me her did not want to go to the Star Party at the Delaware Museum of Natural History.  Kendall is not pleased it is just 1 floor. He prefers The Franklin Institute in Philly. But after the meet and greet in church, we drove by the Coatesville VA Medical Center since he saw the hospital on the hill and kept asking what it was. Then he decided to go to the Star Party. We looked in the museum for a bit - Kendall LOVES the Elephant Bird. He also practiced waiting his turn. He did not enjoy the 30 minute talk in English about the stars we would see but he did a good job.  We learned about a computer program called stellarium and Skymaps.com where there are free monthly Skymaps. Then we went outside where there were 3 telescopes to view the stars. We could see Saturn, the moon and many other stars.  And we used Skyview on the iPhone.  Then we headed home since he was missing his TV time. Kendall used the iPhone all the way home. We stopped at Wendy's for a Frosty and Kendall surprised me by practicing the alphabet :-)

We listened to Vacation Bible School songs since it starts tomorrow in the evening. We are excited - Buenas noches!
