I worked 11:30 am to 8 pm today so Kendall and I enjoyed breakfast together. We had eggs sunny side up for Kendall and scrambled for me. He also slept in a bit and took the bus. Miss Claudette met him at the bus stop after school and they went to McDonald's and the movies to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. This movie is about Inventor Flint Lockwood who thought he saved the world when he destroyed his most infamous invention -- a machine that turned water into food causing cheeseburger rain and spaghetti tornadoes. But Flint soon learns that his invention survived and is now creating food-animals - "foodimals !" Flint and his friends embark on a dangerously delicious mission to battle hungry tacodiles, shrimpanzees, hippotatomuses, cheespiders and other foodimals to save the world - again.
When I arrived home, Kendall and Miss Claudette stayed at the movie theater to play a few games. I checked his backpack and he earned 100% on his spelling test. Great job, Kendall, and I am out a dollar. Four more 100%'s and he gets $10!
