Feliz dia de Los Brujas! What fun! We hurried home to eat, put lights in our pumpkins, take care of Cordelia, and assemble Kendall's Mr. Grim costume. We had lots of fun trick or treating with the neighbors. One of the highlights was 'The Halloween House' that is wonderfully decorated during the day and at night. Many thanks to Megan and Dave who gave out candy for us while we were out - we posted a sign Gone Trick or Treating :-)
We were out for about an hour and a half then came home to give out candy. Kendall had as much fun doing that as trick or treating himself. We FaceTimed with the Abuelos and even greeted some of their trick or treaters via FaceTime. We practiced our spelling words and read a book.
Today was wear your sunglasses and get a "Shade Out Drugs" sticker. He looked guapo in his lentes :-)
Buenas noches!
No matter how one receives a child, it is a miraculous gift from God. Once upon a time, there was a family of one. This family was blessed but had an open heart and home. By choice, we have become a family, first in our hearts, and finally in breath and being. We are an open family and hope everyone with ties to Kendall Alejandro or Allison Elizabeth stay in touch.
