Tio Charlie and Primo John Paul - Thank you so much for letting us stay with you and spending the day with us! We love you! We woke up to no electricity since a tree fell on a power line nearby sowe decided to go out for breakfast.
We went to the Bedford Hills Diner and as luck would have it, our waitress, Rosy, was from Belize and spoke Spanish. Kendall had decided on an omelet but after John Paul ordered Chocolate Chip Pancakes he changed his mind. And in ordering with Rosy he ended up with silver dollar pancakes!
Since we had no electricity, we went to Grand Prix in Mount Kisco and played some games. Kendall and John played several car and motorcycle competition games. Kendall won enough tickets for a sword, a light stick and some candy. John Paul was fascinated with a slot game! We watched the go karts for a bit - they moved very fast. We all had a lot of fun!
Kendall was hungry for lunch and Tio Charlie needed to wait for the cable man so Kendall and I went to McDonald's. We each had a Happy Meal and scored 2 different Epic toys. We had a chance meeting with a wonderful Mom and son, Donna and Damien. Damien is autistic and Kendall loved playing with him. We took a photo of the 2 nuevo amigos!
We wanted to see Epic on 3D but the times available did not work for us so I convinced Kendall to watch the movie sin 3D and we would see the movie again in 3D. We went to the Bedford Theater and sat below in the first floor. We all loved it! Kendall asked lots of questions and I am glad he is willing to try to listen to movies only in English.
We ate pizza for dinner and our topic of conversation was that you need to keep your mouth closed while eating and do not talk while you are eating.
Tomorrow is Peyton's baptism. We are excited to see more family - Buenas noches!
No matter how one receives a child, it is a miraculous gift from God. Once upon a time, there was a family of one. This family was blessed but had an open heart and home. By choice, we have become a family, first in our hearts, and finally in breath and being. We are an open family and hope everyone with ties to Kendall Alejandro or Allison Elizabeth stay in touch.
